Become a Member of the Scugog Council for the Arts
Becoming a member of the Scugog Council for the Arts gives you access to the latest information on Port Perry cultural events, Scugog arts events and Durham Region activities, theatre & music performances, visual art and craft tours and exhibitions.
Members also receive the SCA newsletter and a variety of valuable membership benefits such as promotional opportunities, skills development and arts resources. The SCA welcomes involvement from artists, patrons, organizations and businesses within Scugog and beyond and regularly provides opportunities for members to cultivate a creative community.
Membership Benefits:
Individual Basic – $25/yr
For individuals interested in supporting arts in the community by being informed of and taking part in community arts and cultural activities.

- SCA newsletter, monthly by email or hardcopy
- SCA Memo Board e-bulletins
- Invitations to SCA and SCA partnered events
- Discounts on SCA and participating SCA member products/services/events
- Access to member resources at the Scugog Arts Resource Centre

- Eligible to join the volunteer and other select committees of the SCA.
Family – $35/yr
For a family group of up to 2 adults and up to 4 children under the age of 18.

For not-for-profit organizations including single medium organizations, guilds, public galleries and museums, arts councils, etc.

- Eligible to exhibit/sell work as a group showing at the Scugog Arts Resource Centre (space and schedule permitting)
- Eligible to use Scugog Arts Resource Centre for meeting and/or seminar space for organization functions (space and schedule permitting)

- $5 discount on SCA memberships purchased by organization members as individuals
- Organization receives an SCA award to be awarded at organization’s annual exhibition/awards program/recognition event. Includes one-year complimentary membership and profile of winner in SCA newsletter and on SCA website
Business – $50/yr
For commercial, for-profit businesses and professionals, including commercial galleries, shops, retailers, wholesalers, corporations, trade shows, etc.
