Scugog Shores Fibre Artists win Royal Winter Fair Sheep to Shawl Event

A team of spinners from the Shuttlebug guild in Greenwood including three members of the SSFA (Mary Patterson, Judy Findlay and Dini Page) beat out six other teams recently in a classic Sheep to Shawl competition event at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Teams were required to card the fleece, spin and play into yarn and weave into a shawl within four hours.

Pamela Meacher Book Wins Gold Medal
