2013 Annual General Meeting

2013 Annual General Meeting 24 Members attended at the Scugog Council for the Arts Gallery space on Tuesday night for the Annual General Meeting. Sad News - Mark Bramley It is with great sadness that the SCA informs its members of Mark Bramley's passing yesterday, October 8. The SCA received the information from Colleen Miller, one of the organizer's of Mark's fundraiser earlier this year. SCA presents Tafelmusik in a Pay What You Can Community Concert!

Scugog Shores Fibre Artists win Royal Winter Fair Sheep to Shawl EventA team of spinners from the Shuttlebug guild in Greenwood including three members of the SSFA (Mary Patterson, Judy Findlay and Dini Page) beat out six other teams recently in a classic Sheep to Shawl competition event at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Teams were required to card the fleece, spin and play into yarn and weave into a shawl within four hours.    read more
